Bryan D. Duroy

Biography

Mr. Duroy’s current legal practice focuses on education, labor and employment law. He has represented clients before State and Federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings, labor arbitrations, and employee disciplinary proceedings.  He also has experience representing public sector employers in labor negotiations. Mr. Duroy provides general legal counsel to clients on a variety of issues including labor, employment and collective bargaining.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Duroy served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Yonkers.  As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Mr. Duroy represented the city in various state and federal litigation matters, served as counsel to the Yonkers Planning Board, and advised city departments on matters related to the daily operation of government, including personnel matters, planning, health, environmental, utility, civil rights, negligence, public records, legislative, and executive governance.
